The primary objective of Xilopack, located in Montefredane in the province of Avellino, is to provide the fruit and vegetable operators with wood fibre packaging offering highly innovative technical/structural and utilisation characteristics, with special attention on eco-friendly aspects. Backed by the over twenty years’ experience of its nearby sister company, Novolegno S.p.A., which markets MDF-based packaging throughout Italy, Xilopack was founded to produce and market packaging made entirely of MDF whose outstanding chemical and physical qualities mean it is perfectly in line with the corporate “mission”, i.e. to make a work tool that will fully meet fruit and vegetable growers’ and dealers’ needs for flexible customisation while guaranteeing packaging that is strong and easy to handle - essential characteristics for the fruit and vegetable trade.
